February, the month of hearts, brings with it the feeling of LOVE! It is like a virus, a good one though; one that you welcome into your body allowing it to completely take over your mind, your body, your heart and soul. But before you catch it, tell me something, ‘Is love a fancy or a feeling?” Hartley Coleridge who wrote that opening passage in Sonnet VII had an opinion about it but I want to know what you think. Whichever it is for you, you cannot deny its power. February always has us under Cupid’s influence as we find ourselves floating on Cloud Nine, thinking dreamy thoughts about love and romance that give us no particular yet every reason to smile coupled with loud satisfied sighs. Don’t you just love this feeling? I certainly do and that is why I look forward to hearing who Cupid, the accomplisher archer strikes next. Each and every February he draws from his quiver more arrows than any other month during the year. I love the stories of how countless people welcome the impact of his arrow to their targeted hearts letting love IN. I say WOOT WOOT to Cupid and to all of you; Welcome it! Embrace it! Live it because my friends L-O-V-E is in the AIR! But that is not the only thing in the air this month. Photography by Chanda will also be sharing the space as we charter the friendly skies to travel to the wide open beautiful spaces of Pennsylvania to see some more of our amazing clients. We are looking forward to seeing all their bright and shining faces!

On the ticket of things to do are family, newborn, and child sessions. As you all know, I love to capture my little sprouts as they grow. And this month, I’m going to see one precious lil girl named Arden who is turning one. Happy Birthday Arden! I’m also trying out some new stuff. While pink and red are generally love’s colors of choice for February, I’m hoping to change up the color palette and document in some white stuff too; so excited to see the results! What else is on the calendar this month? Well, love brings out the beauty in all of us and that means I get to document a lot of gorgeous women for their special loved ones… those lucky few men are in for a real Valentine’s treat!!! You have got to love how being in love makes us look and feel. It’s a beautiful sight!  Speaking of love’s…. The love bug is not the only thing that has bitten me; it seems the New Year Resolution bug took a chunk out as well. My trainer is relentless in his pursuits to make sure my resolution stays intact as he is intent on ensuring ice cream and sweets are permanently retired from my diet which is making me not so happy. Thank goodness for Cupid this month as I’m not feeling the love from Dr. Bagwell. LOL! So I’m looking to all of you to help keep me on track. Before I close out this note reminding you to accept Cupid’s arrow this month, I also want to let you know that I just got asked to document Crave’s amazing pictures. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for this opportunity because as you all know I love, love, love sweets and treats.
