I’m back in the saddle ready to blast off the month of July. After having Pierce I am still moving at a considerably slower pace, but am gaining momentum each day. I will admit that it is finally nice to be able to see my toes and verify my shoes match each other. I’m afraid the last few months may have resulted in more than one fashion blunder. Now, I am confident that everything should match. The only drawback is I may have a new accessory or two; forgive me for any drool or spit-up I may occasionally wear.
With June behind me, I will monopolize on the opportunity the summer weather provides for photographing babies bobbing in pools. Children are always in their optimal element around water. Splashing and playing in aquatic bliss provide abundant keepsake photographs.
Additionally, I am happy to shoot many new babies. Included is my own little treasure. Pierce is proving to be quite the model. With his brothers soliciting his response, I really enjoy capturing my three boys interacting. Careful not to only shoot the happy moments, I diligently attempt to document all the variations of Pierce’s personality. This sometimes results in catching moments we tend to forget over time. We choose to remember the giggles and smiles over the messy diapers and fits of crying. I hope to include the tough times with the amazing ones.
The expansion of family to include children most often stems from the most basic act; marriage. With wedding season in full swing, each weekend offers the opportunity to renew my vision of love and family. Small or large, each ceremony supplements the common concept that love is the foundation of any union. Jean and Patrick genuinely solidify the aforementioned concept. I eagerly anticipate being the one to give them a tangible reminder of the happiest day in their lives.
