February, the month of hearts, brings with it the feeling of LOVE! It is like a virus, a good one though; one that you welcome into your body allowing it to completely take over your mind, your body, your heart and soul. But before you catch it, tell me something, ‘Is love a fancy or a feeling?” Hartley Coleridge who wrote that opening passage in Sonnet VII had an opinion about it but I want to know what you think. Whichever it is for you, you cannot deny its power. February always has us under Cupid’s influence as we find ourselves floating on Cloud Nine, thinking dreamy thoughts about love and romance that give us no particular yet every reason to smile coupled with loud satisfied sighs. Don’t you just love this feeling? I certainly do and that is why I look forward to hearing who Cupid, the accomplisher archer strikes next. Each and every February he draws from his quiver more arrows than any other month during the year. I love the stories of how countless people welcome the impact of his arrow to their targeted hearts letting love IN. I say WOOT WOOT to Cupid and to all of you; Welcome it! Embrace it! Live it because my friends L-O-V-E is in the AIR! But that is not the only thing in the air this month.  Where in the heck did 2011 go? As I rip the final of November off the calendar, I cannot help but notice that this year has literally zipped by. One minute I’m talking about the relentless summertime heat and now the December chill has me literally turning up the heat indoors. Brrrr! That’s right friends and fam, you read that correctly, I wrote December which as you know is the final month of the year and a clear indication that 2011 is coming to a close. Another tell-tale sign is that the Ho-Ho-Holiday Season is upon us and in full swing. I’m feeling it; are you? Well, if you’re not, soon you will be as it seems everyone is jumping on the Holiday bandwagon. The streets are decked out with decorations, the malls are crowded with holiday shoppers, the radio stations Holiday music previews have transitioned to full fledge round the clock entertainment, TV specials air each night to add to the seasonal hype and let’s not forget that contagious yet very welcome holiday fever we’re all willing to catch. It’s truly ‘the most wonderful time of the year’ and Photography by Chanda is going to one of the happiest places on earth to experience that and more.
